We were indeed pleased to welcome Saturday, February 5, 2011 some theology students residing in the vicinity of Geneva and listed Domun ( www.domuni.org ), Virtual University Dominicans who now houses nearly 1,000 students worldwide including 350 in certifying a course (Bachelor and Master). One of them came to support her master's dissertation in biblical theology on " Filiation Risk of Advanced Biomedical Engineering : lighting unexpected Bible stories "before a jury composed of brothers Philippe Lefebvre, a professor at the Faculty of Theology University of Fribourg Michel Van Aerde, thesis director, president and Domun Michel Fontaine professor at the High School of Health Source and the University Institute for Training and Research in Nursing (FBM / UNIL).
Would not this the beginning of a network, via Internet, but referred to a place like a Dominican community "non-virtual", for men and women wishing to improve their faith and commitment in the world and the Church? Forming today in areas such as religious studies, philosophy and theology is not an easy ride when it is no longer the old 'classic' studies. Domun brings not only a response to this expectation but also with knowledge and coaching.
